 Some of my new paintings are based on old throwaway cookbooks. I see these paintings as a form of recycling and the food takes on a new shimery post vintage life.

 In the past I've done urban landscapes, portraits, and figure drawing. These ugly food paintings are basically still life type paintings done from printed pages of Sunset Cookbooks.
